Description We’re looking for curious, detail-loving volunteers to research and compile interesting facts about Canada and Canadians. These facts will be shared at Rotary Club meetings to spark conversation between members, deepen appreciation for our country, and occasionally surprise people who think they “already know” Canada. There is no requirement to attend meetings, but we do invite you to, if interested!
Facts can be fun, serious, quirky, historical, cultural, or somewhere in between — as long as they’re accurate and well-sourced. Generally, the level of detail for each fact or story should take no more than three minutes for a club member to speak about during a meeting.
Contribute as much or as little time as you’re able. Our aim is to compile a document of 100+ Canadian information tidbits so we can pick and choose depending on the world events, date, season, etc.
