FM 985 is volunteer managed and produced. Volunteer multicultural and specialty hosts offer a variety of programs making this station a community jewel for over 50 years.

Description
We are seeking a host for a radio program to be delivered in Punjabi language.
This position is idea for someone who is:
* Friendly, Upbeat, Positive
* Interested in the Indian/Canadian community of Waterloo Region
* Closely connected to the Indian community
* Knows and appreciates Indian music, culture and events
* Likes to share and promote happenings in the local community.
If you have audio equipment, you could prepare your show at home and transfer files to the station. If you do not have equipment, you could come to the station and record your show there and then send the files for uploading to the broadcast computer. There are some rules for Canadian Content and propriety that must be followed.

Training Details: You would receive the training you need to work within the requirements of FM985.
Working Conditions: Work can be done from home or at the radio station.

Duration: 1 year or more

The radio show would be 1 hour, possibly growing to 2 hours long.
