Description Our store, Retail Therapy, is how we fund the Domestic Violence Victim’s Alliance. This volunteer position is ideal for anyone who has worked in retail, loves retail and/or frequents thrift stores. That said, there is absolutely zero retail experience required for this position. This position involves organizing the store, creating displays, and stocking shelves.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Training will be provided. Working Conditions: This position requires a volunteer to be on their feet and moving around for most of the time. Frequent breaks are welcome and encouraged. This position can involve some lifting and loading of bags and boxes onto dollies and trolleys. This position requires interacting with other volunteers and shoppers. Accessibility: Designated accessible parking space, Support volunteers with special needs, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Daytime, Weekend - Daytime We ask for a minimum of two hours per week, up to as many hours as you want. Volunteers can be scheduled in advance for the same day and time per week or on a week-by-week basis. We’re open Tuesdays to Sundays, from 11:45am to 5:15pm. Most volunteer hours are during our open hours, unless we schedule an after-hours event.
