Impact Statement
The Women’s English Conversation Circle, part of iHelp International’s Women Empowering Women Program, offers newcomer women a supportive space to practice English, build confidence, and connect with others. As a volunteer Group Facilitator, you play a vital role in supporting the integration, empowerment, and well-being of newcomer women, helping them gain the confidence and skills needed to actively participate in their community and everyday life.

Description
The Group Facilitator is responsible for engaging participants in English conversation and leading discussions on a variety of topics. The primary goal of this role is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where women feel comfortable communicating, build confidence in speaking English, and gradually improve their fluency.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: The Executive Director will meet with you, and provide you with more information on the expectations of this group and answer your questions, you may have.
Working Conditions: The Women’s English Conversation Circle is held at three community centre locations:
• Mondays: Downtown Community Centre, 35 Weber St. West, Kitchener
• Wednesdays: Huron Community Centre, 80 Tartan Ave., Kitchener
• Thursdays: Chandler Mowat Community Centre, 222 Chandler Dr., Kitchener
The program runs at all locations from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Feel free to choose any location you would like Facilitate the conversation circle.
