Description Help run a dementia friendly reading group. Coach residents to engage with the material provided according to their comfort and ability level and provide positive feedback. Facilitate discussion when applicable.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Training on how to assist residents based on support needs, will be given. The volunteer will shadow the group leader initially with the goal of eventually leading the read group on their own. Working Conditions: Parkwood is a wheelchair and scooter-accessible facility. Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Daytime Weekly Mondays from 3pm to 4pm with availability on occasional Tuesdays/Thursdays/Fridays. There might be slight variation in timing on some days
