Description
Check-in Volunteers will be welcoming the athletes and coaches to their temporary housing at the accommodations sites on Wilfrid Laurier and Waterloo University. They will be some of the first people that the athletes see, and will make a great impression about what they can expect from the games.

Some duties include:
- Welcoming athletes with a positive attitude
- Confirming check-in details with all people entering the accommodation
- Providing directions to people when needed
- Handing out welcoming packages and items to people when they are signed-in

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Volunteers will need to complete a virtual introduction to the games, as well as a short venue orientation before their first shift (1 hour). Once accepted as a volunteer, training dates will be given to those volunteers.
Working Conditions: Will be indoors for the most part, but some walking outside may be needed
Will be sitting at a sign in desk, or walking when giving directions/tours
Transportation: On a bus route
