Impact Statement
Join in the festivities, help make an impact, and support Ontario Athletes in a display of athleticism, training, and determination! Your contribution will make these games a success, and help the aspiring athletes reach towards their dreams of competing on the national and international stages!
The Main events for the Ontario Summer Games Waterloo Region happen from July30th - August 2nd! Be sure to come out and support the athletes!

Description
Leadership volunteers will be helping to keep the games, volunteers and venues on track to create a positive experience for all! Some duties include:
- Signing volunteers in and out of their shifts
- Making sure all volunteer needs are covered at the venue
- Communicating with drivers and accepting deliveries
- Coordinating set-up and tear down efforts
- Keeping an open line of communication with committee chairs during the games

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Online Introduction to the games to be completed before the first shift.
Leadership volunteers will need to complete an interview with Volunteer Services, a venue training shift with venue and sport managers (1-2 hours), and lead/attend one or more venue training sessions with venue support volunteers prior to the games (1-2 hours per session).
Working Conditions: Conditions will vary by Venue!
For outdoor roles, remember to dress for the weather and don't forget to bring sunscreen!
For indoor roles, bring an extra layer to just in case!

The events will be taking place from July 30th to August 2nd. Specific times, dates and locations will be assigned to volunteers after they have been accepted.
